The inaugural Fermentation-Enabled Alternative Protein Summit Europe 2022 addressed building high-quality alternative proteins through a scalable process ready for commercialisation.
The Sustainable Future series is focused on the latest advancements and innovations in building a more sustainable future for ecological and human health. Our previous Fermentation-Enabled Alternative Proteins US Summit has been well received by industry leaders, which has allowed us to evolve our Fermentation Summit to be held in Europe in 2022. With a different regulatory environment and developments taking place in the EU, in 2022 we also be focused on the key challenges to Novel Foods and gaining investment in Europe's landscape.
Through speaking to over 20 industry leaders to gain in-depth knowledge on fermentation and the current challenges it faces, we built a two-day summit on the most relevant roadblocks and progress in the field. With focus topics including scaling-up, building partnerships, creating high nutritional value, and looking towards circularity, we covered all of the most pressing topics present within the industry.
