Shyam Suwal is a Senior R&D Manager at the Arla Innovation Center, Arla Foods, Denmark, with over 15 years of experience in the food sector. Shyam holds a PhD from Laval University, Canada, and a Master’s degree from INSA-Toulouse, France. After an academic career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Purdue University, USA, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, Shyam joined Arla Foods as a Process Technology Specialist.
Currently, Shyam leads innovation efforts to develop innovative sustainable process technologies for the dairy industry. Shyam has published over 40 scientific articles and holds 5 patents applications, while actively collaborating on projects both with academic partners and technology suppliers worldwide.
