Dr.-Ing. Wouter Berendsen is a Dutch R&D and business leader in the global dairy industry. Since 2017, he has served as Global Portfolio Director Fat & Cheese at Interfood Group, where he leads innovation and value engineering initiatives. Previously, he held roles at Danone and AVEBE, focusing on product development and market expansion. Wouter holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and an MSc from Wageningen University. His expertise spans biotechnology, dairy applications, and precision fermentation. Having lived in five countries, he brings a global perspective to his work.
